It poured during John and Rebekah’s engagement session, and I couldn’t have picked a more perfect day to shoot this. It was scenes from the Notebook, romance, whimsy and magic for some of the most wonderful people I’ve ever known.

The sky opened up a few minutes in and they spun around in the rain. Picking raspberries, letting their clothes get soggy, intertwining bare feet and sinking into each other under the trees. I disappeared into the background and watched the kind of love you hear about in movies unfold in front of me.

“Look at us, so in love. What a gift.” John texted afterwards.
